We talk, and record it

Not a form. Not a questionnaire. A real conversation about your work, who it's for, and how you talk about it when you're at ease, recorded with your permission. The way you actually speak is better copy than anything either of us would write from scratch.

Step two

I build from your own words

I go back through the recording and pull your site straight out of it: the structure, the copy, the tone. You see a live draft in hours, not days.

Step three

We red-pen it together

You mark what's off. A word, a section, the whole vibe. I make the changes while we're still on the line, no revision queues. We stop when it sounds like you, then it launches on your domain.

04 · The story

I didn't set out to build websites. I set out to build mine.

I'm Griffin Carter, a therapist. When I needed a website of my own I did what everyone does: I got quotes. Agencies talked in weeks and thousands. Template builders handed me someone else's site with my name dropped in. Neither sounded like me, and when your work runs on trust, sounding like you is the whole point.

So I built griffincartertherapy.com myself. Before clinical work I spent years in marketing and business development, and my day job now is listening to people tell me who they are. It turns out that combination is this job: draw the story out of a person, then shape it into words and design that feel like them.

When people started asking who built my site, I realized the process was repeatable, and that it never needed to take weeks. It needed a good conversation and a sharp red pen.

Who is this for?

Anyone whose work depends on trust: therapists, coaches, consultants, and independent professionals who need a credible online presence and don't want to spend months building one.

What does it cost?

Every build is quoted on a sliding scale. Request a quote below, tell me what you do, what the site needs to do, and where you're at financially, and I'll come back with a number that works for you. We agree on it up front, before any work begins. There's never a surprise invoice and never a subscription.

What do you need from me?

One conversation and your story. If you have a headshot and any existing materials, great. If not, I'll guide you through getting what we need. The point of "done for you" is that the burden stays on my side.

Why is the conversation recorded?

Because your site gets built from the way you actually talk. That recording is the raw material. It's made with your permission, used only to build your site, shared with no one, and deleted after launch if you'd like.

How long does it take?

You see a live draft within hours of our conversation, and red-pen changes happen while we're on the line, not in next week's revision cycle. Most sites go from first talk to launch in days.

Do I own the site?

Completely. Files, domain, accounts: everything is handed over at launch. There's no subscription and nothing held hostage.

Can my site change templates like this one?

The switcher at the bottom of this page is a demonstration of range, and every one of these looks can be the starting point for yours. Most clients pick one direction and we tailor it until it's theirs. If you want a switcher of your own, ask. It's been done.

Is this the same as your therapy practice?
